Carnelian 红玛瑙

Carnelian is a brownish-red mineral. It is an orange-red variety of chalcedony, a cryptocrystalline quartz mineral. It is a member of the chalcedony family. The word itself comes from a Latin word meaning “flesh” or “yellowish red”, which symbolizes bold energy and stimulation of the spirit. Carnelian is also known as "bloodstone".
